Statement On The Announcement Of The UK’s Negotiating Objectives For A Trade Agreement With The U.S.

London, UK – UK Executive Director Daniel Dyball released the following statement on the announcement of the United Kingdom’s (UK’s) negotiating objectives for a free trade agreement with the U.S.:

“Internet Association welcomes today’s announcement on the UK’s negotiating objectives for a trade deal with the U.S. The internet is a vital part of both the UK and U.S. economies, so it is crucial that any future agreement ensures the internet’s benefits to people up and down the country can continue to expand. We look forward to working closely with the government in the coming months to ensure we make the most of this opportunity to expand digital trade.”
